Govt response to petition “United Kingdom to not leave the EU”

Deluged by petitions not to be so arse-clenchingly stupid as to leave the EU, you just know that the current Government is going to respond in various shades of “Fuck off”. And so it is with the latest petition: United Kingdom to not leave the EU. Here is the response from the cringefully-named Department for Exiting the European Union. They picked a really bad time to send this. Of course, they’re headed by David Davis, who is renowned for his intelligence, charm, wit, political savvy and sheer humanity. He doesn’t have any. To be fair, nor do any of the appalling May’s shiftless and nasty Cabinet.

Whatever. Let’s go:
